The members of the Fort Hunter Volunteer Fire Company are very proud of the service we provide to our community. We are 100% volunteer and pride ourselves in the job we do to protect lives and property of our residents and visitors to this community. Each member contributes all they can and appreciate the generosity and support you provide us.
Although you can feel safe that we are adequately staffed to respond to your emergency, we are always looking for new members. We encourage all fire district residents over the age of 16, who have an interest in serving the community and being a part of a highly motivated team to join our family. The need for members is great, we can use your help no matter how much time you can give. There is a job here for you, whether it is interior firefighting, driver, fire police, administrative help, or building/equipment maintenance. The rewards are satisfaction and pride in providing a high quality of service to someone in need of help and the great bonds of friendship you are bound to make.
